Welcome to Page 2!
I was conscious of the boys having to scroll to the very end of the page to see the latest info, so new page for a new week!
I really hope you all had a lovely weekend with your family and enjoyed some of that fine weather! I know you would be full of chat during Circle Time at the start of the week telling all your friends what fun you got up at the weekend... you can always send in some photos and I can pop them up here for your friends to see!
Below are two YouTube read aloud links that are a firm favourite with the boys in class and they can lend itself to Wednesday’s suggested activity 🐟 🐛
Click on the YouTube picture and it should open in a new window 🤞🏼
Here’s a picture of a hall display that the two classes put together last November, showing our painting, pastel and sticking skills! Each rainbow fish has that one shiny scale left. Fabulous work ☺️
Click on the picture below of page 1 to bring you back to page 1 to look at all the great previous entries! A lovely way to see your friends and a look back on some school fun activities. And you might get a chance to try some of the other fun suggested activities that are listed there too 😉
(There is also three lines on the top left hand corner of each page that will allow you to navigate which page you would like to open ⬆️

CVC blending, start slowly and progress quicker through each letter sound, keep practising!
After all that CVC blending work it’s time for a movement break! Click the YouTube picture below! The boys absolutely love this one at school! Parents you are in for a treat 😉
Click the picture and the song should play! ⬆️
Your friends would love to see what you’ve been up to here and I’d love to see some of your fun activities too ☺️
Super work with letter recognition, cvc blending and formation!
Thank you for sharing 🌻 with us!

Not sure what the weather is going to turn out like today...but this is a fun 😂 activity for the kids (& the grown-ups!) I played it with my kids on the last wet day... great fun! See pics below! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
So what you need it a pair of tights for each player, with a weighted end in one foot, in my case I just put two balls of the play-doh I made in each! But a tennis ball or whatever would work! Then you line up two rows of ‘skittles’... beakers, bottles etc....
As you can see from the pic with my kids, you put the tights on your head, you need to swing up body to knock over the skittles, you can’t use your hands (or kick them over!!!) you can have races or just for fun!!! Lot of laughter either way!
As always, your comments, feedback, photos or just say to hello are always welcome at
Traditional rainy day activities!
Take out the board games or make some bingo games of your own!
In relation to today’s suggested homework activity these are two other fun games to play! A big hit in my house is the Scavenger hunt and the Roll and Retell game!
Some more great photos for you to see what your friends are doing!
I made this keepsake of this precious reminder of the time spent at home with the kiddies!
Another option to the cups Maths counting activity is a post-it version... see pic below⬇️⬇️⬇️
Another good one for sequencing and recognition it the wooden pegs and coat hanger activity⬇️⬇️⬇️
Good for fine motor skills too... get those finger muscles working and strengthening the Tripod grip!
